About Me
I am a freelance technical designer, based in Brooklyn, NY, but working remotely on a national scale. I have a background in scenery fabrication and technical design for theatre, opera, events, museums, and other entertainment areas. I have worked professionally with a wide array of clients, from scenic and event designers to architects and general contractors.
My background as a fabricator drives me to create simple and clean cut designs that are both effective and easy to build and install. My experience as a technical designer has helped me both understand a client’s unstated needs, as well as collaborating with all parties involved in a project to ensure that the final product exceeds expectations.
I enjoy the problem solving that comes with each unique project, especially projects that include aspects from many different areas. I find no greater satisfaction than pulling together different materials and fabrication techniques into one great final product.
